White Crosses was produced by Butch Vig and is a startling follow up to the huge New Wave LP. expertly walking the thin red line between youthful angst and a more grimy maturity, this is against me's most accomplished record. While it could easily soundtrack a summer of discontent and misspent youth, this record drools an appeal that seems destined to crossover. With Tom Gabel as the passionate figurehead and some sterling backing, 2010 was Against Me!'s year.
