Mad Professor at the controls!! Rewind to 1984 and the genesis of Mad Professor's now legendary UK dub studio and label Ariwa. The eight cuts present on 'Ariwa Sounds: The Early Session' are some of the Mad Professor's earliest raw recordings, laid down on a 4-track (a birthday gift from his wife) between 1979 and 1981. A background in DIY electronics birthed his first self-built four-track mixing desk which he used to dub the Sane Inmates band on cuts voiced by Errol Sly, Ranking Ann, Sergeant Pepper, Sister Audrey and more.
