Anderson .Paak - Venice

10th anniversary edition. Grammy-winning, influential, and cultural tastemaker, Anderson .Paak is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his unique blend of R&B, hip-hop, funk, and soul.

He first gained significant recognition with his debut album Venice in 2014. While some of his older material is perhaps reminiscent of break-looped, J DIlla-indebted beat work, .Paak's debut album Venice saw him utilising harder and faster sounds such as the marching hi-hats and microwaved vocals that dominate nightclub sets along both US coasts.
