Kankawa Nagarra - Wirlmarni

An album of stirring gospel, blues, rock’n’roll and country by the Aboriginal Australian artist Kankawa Nagarra, known as the Queen of the Bandaral Ngadu Delta and whose powerful music carried messages of empathy for all exploited peoples. Wirlmarni is a selection of twelve tracks recorded live near her home of Wangkatjungka in Western Australia and offers newcomers a wonderful whistle-stop tour of her diverse artistry.
